Football Expert Sutton Takes On Artist Olly Murs in Premier League Forecasts

Arsenal's ten-match winning run came to an end by the Black Cats before the global break, however will the Premier League frontrunners recover against local foes Spurs this Sunday?

"{I feel like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this match," remarked soccer specialist Chris Sutton.

"The Spurs manager will try to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating finest this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still find a way to win."

Sutton is making predictions for all 380 Premier League games this season, against AI, readers and a variety of special visitors.

In the twelfth round, he faces performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United supporter.

Murs' new album, the new release, is available on the weekend.

Soccer and Parenting Experiences

Murs is a skilled soccer player as well as a successful singer and has been a featured player of multiple Soccer Aid games over time - but he is not intending a professional comeback as a player.

"{I recently played in a charity game the other night for a mate of mine," he said. "The team was trailing 3-1 when I was substituted in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you will!

"I still love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it seriously again.

"Plus I am forty-one now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my child or boy chooses to play instead."

The singer and his spouse Amelia Tank have a young family, Madison and their son, and he is prepared to follow in his father's footsteps by becoming their coach.

"I won't push football on our children but I've previously told Amelia that if they do get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will likely be coaching their Saturday soccer side," he added.

"I observed my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly owned a soccer team for a while too.

"My father coached with us when I was a child, which is likely where I get it from. He managed our side for two or three years and had great fun with it. That might be the next step for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"

Premier League Forecasts

Saturday, 22 November

  • Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT

The Blues might have to be patient for Cole Palmer's comeback from injury but their attack is already more potent with Joao Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.

In my opinion this fixture will be quite close, though. The Clarets are well organised and their only at Turf Moor losses so far have been against Liverpool and the Gunners.

This smells of a 1-1 draw to me, but I am actually going to go with the London side to win narrowly for what would be their third consecutive league win in a row.

Sutton's forecast: 1-2

Olly's pick: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3

Artificial intelligence's prediction: 0-2

  • Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT

The Cherries have been defeated in their past two games - albeit both of them were on the road - but they got thoroughly beaten by Villa last time out which surprised me.

In contrast, West Ham won two in a row before the hiatus and, although both of those games were at home, they do look competitive again.

The Hammers' sole away victory this season came at Nottingham Forest in the summer, when their manager Nuno was previously that team's manager.

So, what on earth do I go with here - can West Ham continuing their streak under Nuno, or the home side responding?

I am going to choose Bournemouth, because I believe what occurred against Villa was a blip.

Sutton's forecast: 2-0

The guest's outlook: The home team are doing well but West Ham have improved under Nuno. 2-2

The algorithm's pick: 1-1

  • Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT

The Bees were seen as one of the favourites for the drop before the season started, but they have impressed a few people under their manager and are in good form with three in their last four games.

My son advised me to select Brentford striker Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer team a few weeks ago and, guess what, I didn't listen.

The forward will probably score again on Saturday but I am still not going to select him or support Brentford at Amex Stadium.

They have not had much success on the road this term, and the Seagulls are consistently decent at home. The visitors will attempt to hit them on the counter-attack but I think Fabian Hurzeler's team pose much more of a danger.

Sutton's prediction: 2-1

The singer's prediction: This could be a match where you expect there is going to be a lot of goals but it in reality turns out to be rather close. 1-1

The computer's prediction: 2-1

  • Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT

This is a massive fixture for Fulham, who have lost five of their past six games.

They have have plenty of talent in their team but it still feels like they could be sucked into a drop zone fight.

Regarding Sunderland, well they are the surprise package of the top flight campaign so far.

The away side's display in the two-all draw with the Gunners last time out was superb. We've not witnessed anyone else disrupt the North London side like that this term, and they were more than a match for them.

The logical choice to do to back the Black Cats here, because they are clearly able of disrupting the hosts up too and, the previous occasion they were in west London, they beat Chelsea at the end of last month.

But I am not choose that. Rather, I really need to continue opposing Sunderland with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of credit for their good outcomes because they evidently love to prove me wrong.

Considering Fulham's home record, the sole side they have been defeated by is the league leaders. Their manager's side will be extremely desperate for a good result, so I am going to predict they will pick up three much-needed points.

The expert's forecast: 1-0

Olly's prediction: I know the visitors are doing well and also that Fulham are on a poor streak... but Fulham have nonetheless been respectable at home this campaign. 2-0

AI's prediction: 2-0

  • Anfield, 15:00 GMT

This is a tough one to call. Liverpool have lost seven of their past 10 games in every tournament, but could they be one of the teams who benefit from the {international break|
