Latest Refinery Assault Shows 'Zero Safe Locations in Russia's Deep Rear'
Ukrainian UAVs have struck the Russian oil processing plant in the city of Ufa, positioned approximately 1,400 kilometres from the Ukrainian border, causing explosions and a inferno, according to a source in the Ukrainian SBU.

Moscow's assaults on Ukrainian territory killed at least five people on the weekend and disrupted electricity to sections of Ukraine's south Odesa area, per Ukrainian officials.
Two civilians were killed inside a church in Kostyantynivka when it was hit, according to municipal sources.
In the Russian frontier area of Belgorod, a truck driver was fatally wounded by a drone assault, according to municipal sources.
Power Restoration Operations in Kyiv
Work continued on Saturday to restore power in the Ukrainian capital, after Russian attacks.
Power had been restored to more than 800,000 inhabitants by the weekend and the largest utility provider stated the primary work to repair the grid was finished though partial blackouts remained.
Air Defence Efforts and UAV Downings
The Ukrainian air defences intercepted or jammed 54 of 78 UAVs from Russia deployed towards the country overnight, the military said on Saturday.
The Russian military authorities stated it shot down forty-two drones over its own soil.
Cuba Refutes Allegations of Providing Forces to the War
The Cuban government on Saturday denied US assertions it has provided troops to participate in the hostilities, while affirming Cuban authorities "are without precise details about citizens of Cuba" participating "on their own" or "in the military forces of the conflicting parties".
The ministry in Havana announced twenty-six Cubans had been convicted to jail sentences ranging from 5 to 14 years for participating as mercenaries since the autumn of 2023 when reports circulated of individuals being dispatched to the frontlines in the conflict.
Surrender Initiative Program Discloses Details on Cuban Involvement
I Want to Live, a official Kyiv initiative that encourages enemy combatants to give up, reported in spring: "Our information indicates the personal data of one thousand and twenty-eight Cubans who enlisted with the Moscow's troops in the past two years."
The Cuban foreign ministry commented of Cubans who might be participating: "There is no doubt that not a single one have the support, commitment, or approval of the Cuban authorities for their actions."
Relatives of Cuban nationals who traveled to Russia in the year reported to news outlets at the time that their relatives had been misled into enlisting through promotions on online platforms.
