Los Angeles experienced widespread festivities after the Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-game World Series championship. Fans across the globe united with Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in 25 years that a franchise has secured back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Turnout
Local events featured a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Social media videos depict thousands of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the crowds, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.
